Yosh RS4 is the only one I would bother with. Full system, not a slip on.

Go up a tooth or 2 on the rear sprocket.

top speed is around 65mph on the yz250f  i imagine going up 2 teeth in the rear will bring that down to about 50-55mph,  i don't know about you but i constantly ride above 50mph, even in the woods on transition roads and straightaways.   so i would advise anyone against a gearing change and opt for a remap to improve the bottom end.

another FYI with regards to this particular bike...  first gear is tall for a reason, it's an mx bike, perhaps the OP should consider a trail bike if he thinks the yz250f has a soft bottom end. IMO it has plenty of bottom end if mapped correctly, and ridden right.  it must be ridden like a 2 stroke, keep it the motor zinging and it has plenty in every gear.

One tooth in the rear will be pretty hard to notice when it comes to top speed. It's quick and easy. A remap will only do so much.

Having said that the Yamaha has the best bottom end of any 250F.

i actually thought -1 in the rear was the perfect setup in the woods, and i ride really tight single track.  but with along with it, comes the requirement for a lot of additional clutch work.. but as long as you ride it like a 2 stroke and keep the motor singing, that gearing works well.   but i'm also certain my 2017 has more off the bottom than the 2015

Cams make far more change than any full system on the new gen motor and are 1/4 of the price.
