New KX 250 for dirtbeater

Do i need to clean the junk off the head and if so what shall I use? A grinder is probably the wrong answer but mineral spirits isn't cutting it.

If you are quite careful and get it on JUST the carbon, then EZ off oven cleaner. It will start eating the aluminum without much delay.

 

Plastic scraper? Wooden scraper?

Soda blast it. Cleans it like new and is non destructive.

Harbor freight has soda. I use it in my HF cabinet. Works great.

Lemme know who this Washington motor builder is because Langcourt is done in the USA, Millennium Tech phone staff absolutely will not quote you a price over the phone, and Eric Gorr doesn't return emails or phone calls. Also, I don't expect free work - I'll even pay for the job!

Well she is not much to look at.

Seems to run pretty good. I am not sure if the brakes have issues or just not as good as what I am use to. I got some new levers showing up soon. They are cheap Amazon but look cool.
