Guess the hours and oil used on this piston

Recommended Posts

Saw someone do a thread like this on another forum so figured I'd post one when I rebuilt my bike. (that's how bored I am)

Try guess the amount of hours on the piston, premix used and at what ratio. I'll check back in a few days and see who got closest!

Penzoil outboard mix, rings never seated, 2 hard hours.

I hope it's got more than 2 hours as it's the OEM piston from 2013.

You're gonna get some blow-by with as many hours as it has on it ;)

Will be interesting. I can still see some signs of the cross hatch. Is it a 450? Piston wash looks about right in my opinion

Rotella, ridden hard, 50,000 hours

I was going to say Rotella when this was first posted, but I figured someone else should have the honor.:thumbsup:

watercooled with o-ring head gaskets?

maybe the person that asked if it was a 450 didn't notice that just as I didn't.
