Beginner learning to wheelie

Recommended Posts

I have been riding for a year now

Started with a 250f yamaha, learned to ride that well in a matter of weeks. I know on a drz. I want to learn how to wheelie. Will it be easier to learn how to wheelie stock or will it be more of a task with these upgrades? (The fear pertaining to the knew addition of these mods on my bike and how they change the rideability) I plan to add a full FMF exhaust, hot cams, and hopefully a fcr 39mx if it is not too aggressive. I don't want my wheel coming off the ground without my consent.

I am not into wheelies. I have a DRZ400E with the standard slant FCR39.

I find the bike responsive to the throttle without any surprises. I suspect the delayed response of the CV carby may make it a bit harder.
