Cracks in case

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if this is where this post is suppose to go ! But I started tearing down my 2001 cr250 for a rebuild and saw that it has a few cracks in the case :(((( what is the best way to go about fixing these ? New case ? In weld or have it welded ?!? The cracks are off the bottom bolt and Thanks for your time

I zoomed them up and they all look like surface casting flaws mine looked same.  Runs fine.  I would not overtighten the little bolt in front of the shift drum just incase but I think your ok.
