Riding Around Battle Creek MI

Hello all, just arrived in battle Creek Michigan. We are hear for the AMA East Hare Scramble. Could anyone point me to some riding within a hour of Battle Creek? Would like to get some testing in on Friday on some similar terrain. The moto track where the race is doesn't have practice at all this week. I have 2 85 riders, 1 B rider and 1 AA rider. Any help is appreciated! Would prefer woods riding but moto would be fine if it is all that is available.

The closest state trails are about 2 hrs away. You can view them on this map.

D.R. has provided you with link to all or most of trails in Michigan. That link is your best resource. However, I would like to point out these are not all "state" trails, although the link is to a state of Michigan website. Many of the trails are federal. When you click on a map, take note of the color coding of the land on which the trail exists. One color denotes federal forest, another color denotes state forest.

Thanks guys, think we are going to moreland's mx tomorrow. It's about 1.5 hours away and the guy seems cool. Anyone been there? How is the place?

I haven't been to many mx parks. Morelands isn't big, but it should be a good place for you to warm up.
