2008 xcf-w 250 spark plug weep hole

Hi guys, I've recently noticed that small amount of oil started weeping from mentioned weep hole. What could possibly cause it? I will be opening top end to inspect valve clearance and check piston/rings (and change if needed).

Also bike backfires quite a bit and bogs in higher gear/lower rpm (running rich?)

Any feedback appreciated.

Well, I believe that only serves to drain water from the plug base...

Loose plug?

Will check it out tomorrow, but it's definitely oil. Wondering which gasket would let oil get up there, or maybe it's time for piston/rings?

yeah it only acts as a drain hole for the plug which could  be loose

Plug has been replaced and issue with weeping is gone. Thanks
