Cleaning carbon?

With the pipe off looking into the cylinder it looks like there is some carbon build up on the crown and cylinder head. Is it a good idea to I'm bolt the head and clean it?

Not unless you are going to put new O-rings on. It must be cleaned off with a plastic/wooden wedge. If the bike is on CL, why all the fuss? Just ride it and sell it when it gets a prospective buyer.

Because I might just keep it. I wanted a yz250 and now I have one. Was going to get a newer frame model but I have a lot of time and money in this bike and like it.

Oh and there isn't a spec of carbon on the cylinder head, bad lighting...pitted as hell tho bit the cylinder looks very good.
