Big groove in swingarm?

I've been working on fixing up my 2008 crf230f, and i noticed a groove running the across the left swingarm, is this a cause for concern? Any feedback is appreciated

Kick stand is doing that. That's what it looks like. I'm sure its not a problem. If it bothers you have somebody Tig weld it and grind it back smooth. Easy cheesy ?

Owner before me didbt take much care of the bike so that seems likely

It is the kickstand for sure. The last basket case bike I worked had the same issue, but mine actually cut all the way through the aluminum swing arm. I brought it to a friend who welded it up. I put a cheater bar on the kickstand and bent it back away from the frame to stop the rubbing. Steel kickstand and aluminum swing arm, kickstand wins.
