Looking for a frame guard grip tape type thing

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately not finding a lot of options on a frame cover type deal for my 06 SM in Canada.

This is about all I can find that I like and for some reason they charge $40 just to ship it to Canada on top of the $20. There are so many options for other dirt bikes but not much for our bikes. Can anyone recommend something? Or this is a long shot but does anyone just have a template, I guess I could just get some 3M material of some sort and do it myself.

I would like to have something like this even, these look great on other bikes.

You could wrap the frame in masking tape n cut it into a template. Just overlap the tape or use wide tape. When you are happy with your new template, pull it off the frame gently and apply it to the " grip tape ". Cut it out n your done.

3M makes a rubbery tape called Safety Walk. It's cheap, sticky and you can cut it to match fit your frame. My boot rubs it off after a while, but I think a zip tie at the friction points would keep it in place. Just make a tracing and you can cut a bunch in 5 mins. Then when one wears out, just peel it off and put on a new one.
