Shock fitment question

Long story short, I did some pretty serious damage to my shock body and need to replace it. Does anyone know if a 2008 250f is the same shock length as a 2007 yz250?

Different length, and valving. It will fit, but is not right. Most shops (Enzo) have bodies at a great price. I had one that was done inside, think they had one for 75 bucks. Of course, they did the rebuild also, and always give you old parts back. I could see the wear inside they talked about. Said it would have been fine, but rebuilds would have been more frequent.

I'm mostly just concerned with the length. I'll swap the valving from mine anyways. I'll look into the shops

Then I believe the bodies are the same. Check with suspension shop, but I'm betting they are.
