Anybody riding a 13t sprocket on the XR650L?

No.  It's the same amount of chain...going around the same amount of times.  Dropping one tooth in the front gives you a bit more torque at the rear wheel & shaves some top speed.  Adding a tooth does just the opposite...lose a bit of torque and gain some top speed.

Have not seen much wear on then slider bar but I think it would. I put a 13 tooth on for trail riding and it was excellent, sparse clutching at the most.  Did not stall out once on the trail so was able to NOT dump the bike!!

Search for it on here...not sure how, but Ive posted a pic before. If not Ill try and get a pic this afternoon. I mean just imagine it. Take old slider off. Measure it. Cut a strip of bucket that long. Drill two holes top and bottom. Get a tire. Cut it that length. Drill two holes. Drill two 5mm holes. Tap em m6. Loctite. Bolts with washers. Done.

Works long enough for me but I dont ride hard anymore. Id still do it. Ive always been a scrounger.
