Yz 125 Engine case help!

Hi everyone. I'm about to buy a yz 125 on Friday, I've been told the oil drain bolt is held in by jb quickweld so that needs sorting straight away. I'm looking at crankcases on eBay. I've found a pair on eBay that are from a 1999 yz and mines a 2002 do you know if they are the same? Also what side is the oil drain bolt? Left or right? Thanks in advance!

I have an 04. I just did mine 2 months ago.  You need the right side (the more expensive one lol). I believe 02 - 04 are the same. Make sure the numbers are the same.  I think the size of the swing arm/motor mount bolt is different

It can be welded also. My 250 was the same way. $30 to have welded up. Like new sorta! Of course the case has to be split before welding and the pieces all there.

Cheers mate. This might be an option if I can't find a second hand case on eBay. $30?! Over here in the uk it would be more like £150! Lol

I hear yea! Beauty of it was once the case was split it was welded within the hour and ready to go! Waiting a week on parts in no fun.
