X-Trainer Fuel Mileage

Recommended Posts

What kind of mileage are others getting during easy trail/dirt road & 2 track riding?

I'm planning a trip to Moab for some fairly easy riding and need to make some refueling plans.

I only have about 300 miles on the bike but after getting the jetting fairly well dialed in I seem to be in the 35 to 40 mpg range for slow to moderate pace Colorado single and 2 track riding.

Thanks for any info or thoughts.

what have you done to your Xtrainer to get ready for this trip?  I'm looking hard at one myself.

So far I've done the following to the X-Trainer:
Usual guards - CF pipe guard, EE Rear Disc, Unibiker Radiator, Cycra Handguards. Jetting - JD jet kit. Rekluse Radius clutch. FMF Spark Arrestor. Bike is plated.
Currently forks are off for install of upgrade kit.

You've probably ridden Phil's XTrainer already. You can try mine out too. I've done the fox shock and marzocchi 48mm forks.

Interested in a 2017 430 rr-s setup for DS with 5 hrs +/-?? My dealer has a killer deal on one that won't last,,,, surprised it still there for $6500.

Setting your float has major effect on mileage.
