CRF450X Restarting after running issues

Recommended Posts

I have a street legal 2005 CRF450X that recently had the top end replaced, and all was fine until a couple months ago when I couldn't get it to start. I pulled it apart and found that the plug wire connection kept coming off and wouldn't allow it to start, so I put it back on and all was well for a little while. Fast forward a bit and now it will start and run with no problems for as long as I want it to, but as soon as I turn it off, let it sit for any time, and try to restart it, it won't turn over. Every couple of kicks, it will turn over like it is trying to start, but won't fire up, and if I keep kicking, it ends up flooding. Would you all have any idea what my problem is?

Thanks!

I just replaced them probably 3-5 hours ago. Would they fall out of tolerance that quickly? I replaced them with stainless.
