Bike shifting into neutral

Hi, I have a 1990 Suzuki ds80, and when I am going through the gears, I have been shifting up into neutral from 3rd. Also, sometimes it does not sound like I am shifting at all, but that has only happened occasionally. I just changed the oil on it today, if that makes a difference. Please help!!!
