Bike bogging at low RPMs

Recommended Posts

I have a 2000 YZ250. I just did a top end rebuild, changed the reeds to Boyseen dual stage power reeds.  The bike is really bogging down at low RPMs, to the point it will shut off.  I played around with the air fuel screw but it didn't seem to correct the problem.  Can any of you guys tell me where to start.  Could it be the jetting now because of the reed change? Thanks for any help.

Might have gotten dirt into the carb to. Would try to take it apart and clean it up, using compressed air to really blow through all the jets and tunnels. If no bueno, try to change jets :) .
