350 XCFW Desert Set-up

Recommended Posts

I have a 2016 KTM 350 XCFW that was set-up great for doing woods in Virginia. Raced hare scrambles and national enduro. Spring weight is correct and I already have a Scotts stab. I now live here in Tucson, AZ. I find that the forks are too firm for trying to go fast over the rocky stuff and tends to bottom on bigger jumps. I'm planning to get the local dealer (AZKKTM) to do a RaceTech revalve for the forks. I'm wondering what else I need to do to have the suspension right for racing Hare Scrambles and GP's. Once the forks are valved right, can the shock be tuned to the terrain here, or does it need revalving as well. I'm also running mousses front and rear.
