Best Wheels To Get For The Price

Recommended Posts

So in the market for a rear wheel. My stock excel rim on my yz250f has 4 cracks in it somehow, so it's not safe to ride it whatsoever. So I was wondering what wheels you would suggest I don't wanna spend a ton of money on a wheel but I don't want a cheap wheel. So any suggestions? I have a 2006 yz250f.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Check with Jeff aka bolt in the classified section.  I think he has the best prices.

Used OEM

People almost always ask too much for used wheels. Especially if it's for a current bike.

I paid $35 for my front wheel and $100 for the rear. Both had everything on them in good shape ready to put on and ride (tires, disks, bearings, and sprocket). Just gotta watch for the good deals and know what bikes have interchangeable wheels as there's likely a year range and different makes and models that would bolt right up.

Good luck finding a used OEM 22mm axle front Yamaha wheel. Hard to find. I used an RMZ front wheel and modified the stock spacers. It is about 4mm off to one side but that negligable on a dirt bike. Paid $75 for that wheel.
