97 kx125 wheel alignment

Recommended Posts

Working on this bike for my cousin I don't know who's ever worked on it before it's been passed around. When I line the front wheel up so the rotor is centered in the caliper it's more towards the left Fork than the Right Fork about 3/16 total difference. If I Center it in the forks the rotor is rubbing the caliper. Any thoughts? I think I'd rather have the rotor centered.

This is a 97 should be all stock. The manual doesn't mention anything about centering the wheel28b716786c9e1ead815a015d0e0d116b.jpg297ce4a767e823947b6bff5c4f9c3e61.jpgb6ccbd544cfdaa3f81ba0b25dd8cbab1.jpg4fdb17856d925580496ef3a154697bbb.jpg

I might I might be overthinking the situation if I just bring the axle bolt flush with the left Fork that should be correct right?

What I ended up doing is bringing the axle flush with the outside of the left clamp. That centered the rotor in the caliper. It's a little off between the forks but I didn't notice riding it.
