Linkage Guards

IMO, I dug the net over too many time now looking for this linkage guard for a yz250 02 model. Anybody knows a brand to fit mine as most guards are made to fit newer models.

I can not tell you specifically for your bike but doing a google search which I assume you have done otherwise, have you emailed any of the manufactures asking them if they make one for your bike?

https://www.google.ca/search?source=hp&q=dirt+bike+lower+linkage+guard&oq=dirt+bike+lower+linkage+guard&gs_l=psy-ab.12..33i160k1l2.2539.19954.0.28649.31.11.0.0.0.0.3617.6005.9-2.2.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..29.2.5977.0..33i21k1.hFedE-5PKVY

With that said I ride LOTS of hard/technical/rocky terrain on my 05 crf250r and when I went to rebuild my lower linkage I found this and which IMO a guard most likely would have prevented.

Otherwise I should have rebuilt it years ago cus everything else was OBVIOUSLY toasted due to neglect.

Or another option would be to fab one and it doesn't have to be EXACTLY like the one in your pic cus that one would require a full on machine shop.

I also just notice you're in the Philippines ?

Looks like you have an excuse to buy a newer bike!emoji106.png

lol.. you got me..  but somehow I prefer to use my old ride. Best of all, it's fully depreciated. No more cost, just gaining lots of fun and adventure.

I feel like a linkage guard wasn't a thing until KTM started having bikes with linkage. I don't think they are totally necessary.

You wouldn't need it if all you traverse just soil. But with terrains like Idaho.. most bike I've seen comes with one. and yeah.. it's a ktm. lol.
