Milky oil...Still??

Recommended Posts

How's it going everyone, i have a 01 YZ426F, i had water getting into my oil before, so i just rebuilt the top end gaskets seals rings etc, replaced the water pump impeller, it had groves in it so i was hoping that was the culprit, replaced the bearings and seals as well, slapped it back togeather, did 2 oil changes and coolant changes, and i still have milky oil. I'm hoping it's not a crank, i didn't see anything in the top end when i took it apart, anyone have any suggestions as to what else may be the issue? thank you

Base gasket, head gasket, pump seals are all you have between the oil and the water

The crank does not 'see' any water on either side of the seals

A cracked head near the cam chain side can dump water into the cam chain tunnel

it was a long time ago but i got water into my motor first ride out through the vent ontop of the head . I did around 8 to 10 oil changes. rode up and down the street dumped it. kept doing that. used cheap oil. bike now has over 200 hours. never been milky again.  2005 yz450
