Hey guys

Long time reader, first time poster

So I have a 2006 kx250f that goes great for an old carby model but it is still missing power against modern bikes out at the track. I was wondering if it would be possible to put the fuel injection system off of a 2011 model or newer onto my current bike. As far as I can tell the air boot should be the same and the throttle body shouldn't be an issue and the loom will just connect up. The only possible major issue I can think of would be hooking up the stator.

If anyone out there knows anything about this let me know it would be great

Thanks, Hugh

You probably wouldnt gain any horsepower or torque by retrofitting because your bike was never designed for it but if you really want to then you would need a new subframe/airboot, throttlebody, and new wiring harness.  The best thing to do would be to sell the 06 and find a newer bike.

Don't forget the fuel tank, with integral fuel pump (that probably won't fit).

As twizzler21 said, sell the '06 and buy newer.
