Own a 2009 KTM 250 SX-F 4 Stroke. ..Use it to ride trails not track. Been keeping up with maintenance.  Noticing I was burning oil.

Discovered I was leaking oil out of the breather tube and shortly after it started running terrible. . Has always been a hard start and

no electric start. Estimated I put 100 hrs on it..Time for some top end love. Took in to a good shop a long story short need new top

end and bottom end (crank shaft is hosed). Looking at $2,000 (1100 parts/900 labor). The rest of the bike is solid...drivetrain,

components, suspension, wheels etc. So , buy a new engine (for a fraction of the cost of a new Moto) but continue to ride a bike

that is not ideal for the woods or sell it as is/part it out and get a woods bike but go in debt $6-7 K? Thoughts?
