Engraving on cylinder? DUFD

Recommended Posts

So I found an odd engraving on my used drz400 it's a 2000 drz400s. The engraving is on the right side brake side, under the suzuki label near the exhaust. It says dufd. Does anyone have any idea what this means? Thanks

It stands for Drz Upgraded Fuel Delivery
What it means is the previous owner has basically spent a lot of money to turn a carbed bike into a basically fuel injected bike. VERY rare but high demand mod...

(Just joking man I have no clue what it means but I'm curious to see some pictures...)

It stands for Davis Unified Fire District, they stamp all of their bikes for easy identification in case any of them are stolen.
