Rebound adjustment doing opposite?

Recommended Posts

2013 kx450f and I modded it with 2007 yz250f fork all done by mx tech.  Ok was out yesterday and the front didn't give me a good feeling in loose stuff, it get wanting to slide wide.  I turned rebound in 3 clicks and it seemed to get better. Bisnt that opposite?  Sliding out is understeer and should adjust rebound harder (in).  Or am i confusing it again?

Proof is in the riding always trust what you feel not what a book has told you. What you have said does  make sense from a book point of view as well.

I don't know if this question can actually ne answered but as you get faster you generally go in on rebound our out?  Comp I think is usually stiffer right?

Different riders like different settings

you can't argue with stupid or Yamaha owners

Normally the faster the rider the less the rebound as the suspension has to return faster as the speed is higher. That's a rule of thumb...
