Kawasaki kx65 top end swap to 100cc??

Recommended Posts

Hello. I'm new to this forum. Im sure someone already asked or talked about this. I have a 2005 kx65 with a blown engine. Wondering if I could get an upgraded or more durable crank shaft for it and if the kx80 or kx100 cylinder with piston and head would work on the kx65 bottom?

There is no interchangeability between the 65 and 85/100 motors.

I think factory Kawasaki is going to be the best crank you can get.  Run good oil and run a lot of it, keep dirt out with proper air filter servicing.  If you do your part it should not require service in less than 100 hours.  Should last quite a bit longer than that unless the kid is really tearing around the track.
