Parts made in Taiwan

Are parts that are made in taiwan ok/good? becuase i ordered a part from pshycic MX which was the con rod, bearings, pin, and the washers, and it said made in taiwan so are those parts that are made over in taiwan good/ok?

generally speaking original parts are the highest quality. Just make sure you use a good oil and don't use gas with alcohol (which doesn't evaporate away from the oiled surfaces like gasoline does and so in effect dilutes the oil).

Taiwan has some of the newest most modern machine shops in the world and can make good stuff if commission to do so  They also have some of the worst back alley operations. Generally...... the biggest part of their business is to supply a low price point throw away society, so that can reflect in their QC and material selection.  Mainland china scares me even more than Taiwan because they operate under a different system, one that rewards manufactures for using china supplied materials which often are inferior.

It also depends on what parts you are talking about.  Critical engine components, I'd go OEM or as close to it as possible.  Grips, levers, bodywork, who cares where its made cause its gonna get broken/scratched anyway.
