AER resistance

Recommended Posts

I posted this in Husky section too, but forgot there was a suspension section:

Fork seals were leaking, so I am in the process of replacing. I just did the non air side, and when I was finished, I noticed there isn't much resistance when I push down on the fork. I didn't check this before disassembling, so I'm not sure how it is supposed to feel. But did bleed the inner cartridge and the rod did return after pushing up and doing oil. I just assume since there is no "spring" on that side there shouldn't be much resistance, but just want to reassure myself before going out for the next ride. The "spring" side has a lot of resistance (I checked this side when taking off) but assume this is because of the air. I did my KYB SSS stuff a lot over the years, just the first time with Air forks.
