Lower seat-Which is best value?

I have a dual sport ride coming up and I need a solution to touch the ground!  I purchased a used 09' 400s and the PO installed race tech springs and he was quite a bit heavier than I.  This make the bike stand even taller.  Anyway I do not want to do lowering links and am not going to spend the money to redo the suspension right now.  Looking for best economical lower seat. I don't want to go too cheap that I will regret purchase.  Any insight is appreciated.  Thanks'

Either trim the existing foam or purchase the Seat Concepts.

The 2 rings on the shock body serve as preload adjusters. You need to back off some tension until the bike as 100mm of sag with you sitting on it in full riding gear.

 

Setting the sag correctly is the most important thing you can do concerning handling. Every rider needs to do this. What you think is close enough likely isn't.
