I live in the Arctic. The roads here are very harsh on vehicles. Suspensions especially. I've been seriously considering getting a dirt bike to get around on. But I need to know if a dirt bike can handle -40 weather. I've seen a couple of bikes around town, but not in the winter. Can dirt bikes be fitted to handle extremely cold weather?

It can but you have to put someting in front on 1 radiator (there is 2) to block the cold air or convert to a thermostat

And god down to example 5W--30 oil if it is normal 10W-40 oil wheigt in the bike

Here in Sweden i drive in -10C

Search around for posts from a member by the name of frostbite. He lives and rides up by the arctic circle year round.
