He said "im searching for the best option for wet mud , clay, thick mud, etc"........An MT16 is a trials tire and the tread will fill up with mud and you won't go anywhere.  The trials tire tread doesn't self-clean like a knobby does since the tread blocks are so close together.  Been there.  On rocky, rooty, drier stuff (maybe clay) they rule since there's so much more contact patch.  MB5 or S12.

2 versions of the awesome IRC M5B,The Evo version is a softer, muddy terrain tire but the non evo is one of if not the best all around tire I have seen used.It wears great and goes through anything.
