'15 KX250f SFF Fork Oil Height

Recommended Posts

Have been trying to tune my KX for better handling. I had the suspension revalved & he set it up as a plush MX setting.

It's been a year or so since the revalve and just had a guy from the local track replace the seals and oil. They feel the same as before, as expected. But my question is, what is a good fork oil height and does the same amount of oil go in each leg?

The sticker my suspension tech put on my fork says 325/325 under Oil Ht. I've read someone mention to use 330 on one side and 230 on the other. Does it make any difference with a SFF fork to change oil height on the spring side?

Yes it does and normally they are different levels , oil height has a huge effect once you get to half stroke

If you have a soft stack in he will need the extra oil height to control bottoming. If your suspension has settings on from a tuner then go with his recommendations as using the std levels may cause you issues
