1997 rm250 questions

do the 97's have the standard forks? if so those are awesome forks

if it was perfect, as in showroom quality i'd think 1500 max.

 

Id agree with william if its a standard run of the mill used bike

I dunno where you're located but a 99 is listed here for 1500. Hasn't sold. I'd say both are worth 900-1100 here. Market conditions local to you typically affects the price. In the northern hemisphere it's coming up on fall and to some that means no riding soon so it's considered "end" of riding season so it's a buyers market typically.

People are dumb. The bike retailed around 4500 new. $2300 would of been a fair selling price in 2000. Unless the bike is in museum quality shape, I would pass. For not much more you can find a YZ that's almost identical to the current model.
