Real duals on the 18

Recommended Posts

Ya I was never sold on the dual exhaust BUT now its true dual exhaust among a number of major changes for the 2018 and I'm finally getting interested BUT I would still like to see if they can put on their big boy pants and come out with a 250/450 RX bike that could be plate able and compete with say an EXC or the Husky/Beta version

I take what I read with a grain of salt but reference the October Dirt Bike review if you are interested.

I still think Yamaha is the only Japanese company remotely interested in MAYBE making a 4T true off road plate able bike and I like their commitment to the 2T market.

I love my Honda BUT my next bike and living in NA is going to be a plate able Husky 350 or a Beta 350/390.

No doubt separate duals aren't simply a marketing / bling only decision but,

at the super high rpms where any small power is gained no one but an A level rider will see the difference.

The test / shootout will tell if their intention was to win the top HP battle or,

increase the width of usable power with more over-rev.

Everyone always wants more power but in this fashion

it will soon be 15000+ rpm 250F's, get ready for monthly valve and piston replacements.
