My new wr450f enduro gp

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I made the leap from a 2015 wr250f to a 2017 wr450f enduro gp , I couldn't be any more happy with the 450 .

Anyway I have been adding a few bits and also removing some to lose a little weight.

Some of the parts I have taken off my 250 as I'll be selling it .

Yeah I know , I ordered one but the guy hadn't sent it off after 6 days so I asked for a refund , I'll get an axp one on order , I nodded the standard one as that hole must let over 5kg of crap collect in there .

Can you tell me what leavers your using please as I’m after a set myself with a true two finger clutch instead of the huge one fitted from stock.

been looking at the Righteous stunt clutch but the prices are mega to get them from the states to the uk.

also does the Samco hose do away with the metal Y piece?

noticed you have to Twin Air plate in your airbox, does this just provide better sealing for the filter over the stock item.

Levers are zeta , the clutch is complete with perch , but you could buy a yz perch , I couldn't find a lever to fit the WR perch .

Yes the powerflow kit is supposed to give a better seal and better flow as it removes the backfire screen .

The Samco hose eliminates the y piece , mine came off the wr250f and I had to alter it to make it fit .

It's not actually a 2 finger but a 3. Zeta do 3 or 4 finger lever blades, which are interchangable. Get the 3 finger one and slide it on-board on the bar a bit and its as good as a 2 finger.

Never been to Scotland myself so if you could snap a few photos and post them I would really appreciate looking at them.

4:40am coyotes are having a sing-a-long a few hundred meters away. Wonder what they are having for breakfast?

Thank you for the pictures! They are wonderful, thanks again. Here is a big rock out here in the desert. Next time I get out that way I will ride all the way down to Mormon Springs and post pictures.

The coyotes were closer this morning and in tune!

Yes there are miles an miles of natural surface roads and trails here. I have lived here in Golden Valley for 15 years and have not come close to riding all the roads and trails. Come over for a vacation, I need help exploring the area.
