ttr230 vs crf230 which should I buy?

Hello, I have been looking for a new trail bike I can throw around. I'm looking at a 2006 ttr230 very clean low hour bike, the other option is a 2003 crf230f with a full pro circuit pipe kit but has been riden considerably more and costs $200 more. What's your guys thoughts on it/suggestions on which I should buy?4882043A-BE36-49F4-9248-7AB7FCBE798F-12078-000005C7F13FD7DC_tmp.jpgC4D885C7-1785-4C71-9EDA-AB92F9B6C3FF-12078-000005C7E408C117_tmp.jpg

Bone stock they are about the same. There is a little more aftermarket support for the Honda.

We have had both.  I bought my then 12 year old son a CRF230F in 03 brand new, and we currently have a 2011 TTR230 that is my grandon's that he has outgrown.  Both are fairly heavy for their power and size, both have a 1970 era rear brake.  Either one in stock form is fine, but the CRF does have a larger following of people that have modded them to make a decent little bike, check out the CRF230F forum here.

I would go with the Honda, used to have a ttr and it was cold blooded, hard starting in colder weather, suspension didn't feel the best specially after riding my buddy's crf
+1 for Honda

Are you kidding? The Yamaha is newer, and lower hours. And cheaper!!!!Take the Yamaha
