Hour on the trainer today, watching Le Tour.

Tweaked the saddle position a little. Really liking it!

Mario, I plan on getting myself a Smart Trainer for this winter, and they can go online and do group rides through Zwift. My riding friends claim that it is very realistic. A monitor projects the ride in front of you and simulates the entire group ride atmosphere, inc hills

I've thought about Zwift but it's kinda pricey. I think it would be fun to try though.

Did some climbing today:

Got some personal bests, including a grueling 10% mile. Knocked 40 seconds off that (4 minutes flat, down from 4:40).

Also, feel free to post any mountain rides! It's all road bikey in here!

How's the bike feel?  IIRC you are running the ultegra grou set, right?

Today sucked. Aimed for a solo metric century, and ended up getting a flat 7 miles from the end. I also found out the CO2 cartridges I bought for my pump don't work with it (I haven't used this pump yet).

I looked at the tires and they are just about done. Little cuts and holes all over the place, so I bought a pair of Conti GP4Ks after I got home.

Yeah, and the DI2 is awesome! Super smooth shifting and very strong braking.

Did the group ride again this evening. Led a couple times (did OK despite not having a speedometer or GPS). After my last lead, and only a mile away from the end point, I moved to the back and my right leg cramped up! It still hurts, but I managed.

Other than the cramp, I stayed with the 24mph max group the entire time!

That's a good pace.  Guess the new bike is fitting you well.  Group rides are the best.  I try to hit one every weekend.  During the week I'm a lone rider.

Well spring is finally here and with new fitness goals.  Taking in some cross training to get my fitness up for some MX racing this summer, and of course just for the love of being on two wheels.  This is around the 11 week mark of training.  I’ve been doing moderate cardio 5 days week and engaging a powerlifting program with some hypertrophy stuff mixed in 3 days/week.  Been doing meal prep and running in a slight caloric deficit for around 11 weeks.  Down just over 20lbs so far

I’m pretty new to this tracking business, so please let me know guys if there’s a better tracking app.

I highly recommend Strava for any cardio activities, especially cycling and running. The Fitbit app should play nice and upload to Strava including any GPS data (once set up), but Strava can also record GPS.

Edit: also, holy crap! Keep it up man.

Here's my first ride recorded with my new Wahoo Elemnt Bolt computer! But I forgot to record the first half of the ride... So double the distance and time.

Lots of rain this year. As such, the rivers are running high and some parts of the trail are flooded.

Also, here's a fun little video that kinda shows the route and has some social aspects: https://www.relive.cc/view/2290161343
