DR-350SE Suspension

Recommended Posts

After I bought my 1999 DR350SE the first thing I did was change the engine oil and filter.  The second thing I did was change the fork oil.  The manual says to replenish with 5wt oil in the quantity of 494 ml.  I did that and reset the dampening on the compression and rebound back to their center settings after I put it back together.  On my ride this past weekend the front end seemed to be very non responsive on choppy surfaces and yet had a fair amount of dive when letting off the throttle or braking.  Should I back out the compression damping some more?  I weigh 155 in my riding gear and I am not riding aggressively at this point.

I have the same bike but haven't torn into it yet.  I'm just checking in to say I'm interested in suspension setup and will share anything I learn.
