2016 300 XC hard to upshift

Hi there all.  I have 2016 KTM 300 XC that I find can be difficult to upshift from 3rd to 4th to 5th.  I'm wearing GaerneSG12 (2 years old now) but I find it I'm having problems just pulling that lever up, or thinking I have but it's still in the same gear.  Does anyone else have this issue or am I just a goon who doesn't know how to shift my bike?

Is your lever hitting the ignition cover? If not try lowering it a bit. I ran sg12s and had no problems.

Im thinking i had to run a bit lower than stock too.

oil?  maybe clutch plates sticking or spacers messed up.

Probably a shifting claw issue, which is a known problem with KTM's. I had an 11 250XC-W with this problem. It drove me crazy.

Thanks.  I've changed the oil every 15-20 hours.  The bike only has around 40 on it now.  I'll try lowering the shift lever a notch or two.  That'll keep it out of my way when out running Jarvis:)  If this doesn't help, I'll look into the shifting claw....
