Auburn Extreme Powersports new Beta dealer

Recommended Posts

I live in Colfax area of California and noticed that Auburn Extreme is now a Beta dealer.  I stopped in and talked to them for few minutes. They already have Capital Yamaha beat by actually having bikes on the floor.  He said they were asked to move 30 bikes a year.  In 2 months, they had sold 22!  There has to be some people on here that can give feedback on how their purchase went?

I’ve stopped by there also and I like it, it’s nice to see a few bikes on the floor. And from the reports I’ve heard they’re great people to deal with yet with the reliability of the Beta in general unfortunately most of the dealers don’t exercise their parts department too much .

I know I’ve only needed to see my dealer dale at Motoxotica a few times in the last four years. Damn Beta’s are way to reliable LOL

Good to hear! For me living so far away on a tiny rock the variety of Beta locations and the different riding is interesting. The dealerships are  different aswell. Sounds like they are cranking! Good for them!

Down here in mexico, land of the miracle and home of the weird, ive seen people use the same mousse for over 2 years. They claim that though it has become softer, it remains in place and performs well. How long have you used the same mousse for?
      Rubber side down my guys,

Anyone have any unbiased opinion if they were buying a new dual sport.   Would you go with the new Honda CRF450L or the Beta 430rrs?   Why

I just noticed that Matteo Cavallo’s bike has a kicker and estart like how Holcombe runs..
I guess lightest bikes aren’t everything.

As the title suggests, I've been debating the idea of throwing in a high compression piston. It will bump the compression in my 2014 KTM 350 XC-F from 13.5:1 to 14:1. First and foremost my main question is, because I live under 1000 ft and usually run 97 octane REC gas, will I have to change the fuel I run or not? Also, will I have to change out the cams to aftermarket and re-time the whole motor and ignition? I guess I really don't know what to expect so any advice will definitely help! Attached below is a photo of the bike I plan on putting it in.
