Corroded bolt in water pump.

I just installed a new kicker in my bike('07 450R). I didn't remove the w.p., just the 1 bolt that goes threw it to the case. I noticed the bolt is showing signs on corrosion, like exposed to water. Is this a sign of impending failure, or normal and just needs to be replaced. I haven't noticed any "milk" in the oil when drained, and never any loss of coolant. It's an after market pump, a Boysen Super cooler. TIA

pretty normal, always one bolt rusty as hell every time i take one apart as well. see it a lot. Wire wheel it up and then grease it up!

Dissimilar metal corrosion.  Steel bolt going in to aluminum.  Clean it up and brush on some grease (I use Bel-Ray Waterproof but whatever) or put some anti-seize on it.
