I wonder how OP bikes is running after he pulled the Oi out and is running premix??

Runs great. Did a touch more jetting. Still a touch of spooge but significantly less than before. I still think the jd jet kit runs a touch fat but she feels electric and I’m honestly scared of the top end. The acceleration on top makes my vision blur. Lol

I am interested to hear how the bike feels with the X-Trainer pipe and if it can lug even lower than my Gnarly.
I highly doubt it. An XT pipe on the XT is basically a restriction. It gives it a nice, old school 4 stroke like power delivery without any sort of hit. A Gnarly pipe on an XT adds power everywhere. The low-end is much stronger therefore less tractable by comparison. If anything it will lug lower as it absolutely refuses to stall. It hits in the mid-range like you would expect from a 2 stroke and pulls much stronger on top than stock. Compared to a YZ250 it signs off early on top but I suspect it would sing with a Fatty pipe.

This is what i read from the 2019 Beta RR Model release on October 2nd = the Beta RR race edition 2 strokes will not have oil injection...

This is how they worded the article =                " Premix:
For racing, the 2-stroke range has no automatic oil injector and requires pre-mix. This feature was removed to reduce weight."

I think it was because of the issues they were having with the system.. Beta dont need DNF's, blown up bikes, and unhappy customers.. because really  how much weight could this system weight.. im sure it weights very very little. .

Here is the whole article;

conjecture. This announcement pertains to the RR Race Editions which have did not receive oil injection from 2016 forward unlike the standard RR model.

Then why does it say "This feature was removed to reduce weight."

Removed means = it was installed and they removed it. :naughty:

Italian interpretation of English marketing promotional language? Should have used the word omitted or not included instead. Oh well.

Look at that system like you would look at the throttle limiter and ignition on an older Yamaha WR250F.  Its there to solve a Euro compliance requirement, that's it.  You will never see it on a factory/Beta USA race bike, even though it does way very little in total.

They are made out of tin foil so get yourself a guard or she'll really get mellow.

It's VERY light so yes made out of tin foil. Have two Beta RR pipes and CF guards. Who wants to trade guard for guard? The RR pipes are B-E-N-T up good.

Rode it around neighborhood parks and streets (plated) and it seemed more linear. Wheelied out of first and second gear just like the RR pipe. :ride:

Less peaky and more linear. Didn't really open it up much on the streets. Plan for actual ride this weekend tho. Sound is different.
Well let me know if you decide you don't need that stock pipe anymore.

Don't need. I have two of them. Both bent. Both have CF guards installed (good condition). $100 shipped?
