arizona Residency requirements for plating

Recommended Posts

I'll be moving to Arizona in August/September but my registration is due this month for one bike and next month for the other. I really don't want to pay for a full year here ($200) and then have to register them in Arizona. I looked to see what Arizona requires to register and couldn't find anything about proof of residency. Can anyone tell me if you have to have proof of residency, such as a utility bill, to register a bike? Or just an address?

Also, does it matter if the registration is expired? I may just let it expire here instead of paying the no-op fees if it won't make a difference when I go to register in AZ.

Any help is much appreciated.

I went to AAA to register my bike, all they needed was the title and my ID. I have an Arizona drivers license but its my old address on the ID. They just asked for the updated address. The plate and OHV sticker wasn’t that much, cant remember the exact amount bout around 35 I think.
