Carb swap?

I have a 2008 Honda crf230l. What I would like to know is if it is possible to swap the vacuum operated stock carburetor on my bike for a stock carburetor off of a Honda crf230f?

Yes it is but there will be no HP difference and your fuel mileage will decrease a lot.
Frank from EO (xr100.com) has much experience with the “L” stock carb and “performance versus fuel mileage”.
