I am so frustrated, I parted ways with $800 + cash, no response to texts from Terry of late,

Have I done my money, do I get my parts elsewhere, then a week later he comes through with his parts for me?

Tough choice… I was faced with the same dilemma and made my decision based on not wanting to miss another season of Vinduro, waiting for parts from Terry.

So, I recently took the plunge and bought a good 2nd hand head off eBay. A 389 cam, rockers and springs have just arrived from the awesome people at Web Cam. I have thrown some new valves and guides in the head and it’s good to go.

This will be a temporary build until (hopefully) Terry is back in business. It won’t be the all-out stroker motor that Terry was promising but it will do for now.

Many posters on TT have stated that “Crank Works” in Tempe, AZ will build what ever you desire...rods included.

(498) 897-1746

EMail: cwi@crankworks.com

I’m guessing that there work is fairly pricy?

$300.00 minimum labor for stroker

$30 for rod big end clearance mod

No parts included and are extra.

There in house rods are priced from $215.00 up to $295.00

www.crankworks.com

If you like to do your own work yourself, offset crank pins from 1mm to 4mm are available from Taiwan on line or you can order them by pm from greenhuman, a regular poster here on TT

By pm you may be able to order custom valves from “Mixxer “ a regular poster here on TT.

He has a source for custom oversized stainless valves.

Hi All,

I just wanted to let you know that after 11 months Terry Miller / Team Rude finally refunded my money,

11 months of excuses, frustration, phone calls, Text messages, emails and lack of bike time whilst waiting in limbo for parts, or a refund.

A hard lesson learnt.

Bye, Mark

I am glad you got a refund.  Sounds like a frustrating experience.

Terry Miller does/did quality work.  I think things just spun out of control for him.

I for one hope he gets things sorted and gets up and running again.

Its a shame. He's got a long history with this engine platform, has a solid reputation as far as his work ethic, and has been super helpful for us here on T-Talk. I wonder what happened to him. Really seems out of character for a guy with his history. Maybe he'll let us know.

To help fill part of the Void left from Terry:

Many may already know that “greenhuman” from Australia has come on board with supplying offset crank pins for stroker cranks for the 200r-230f and soon the new 250f. Anyone that can rebuild a crank can install an offset pin.

Some may have not heard about greenhuman yet?

He is also working on piston kits for 230’s and 250f with relocated pins for 4mm increase in stroke.
And:
He is putting together a deal to offer 6 different billet camshafts for 230’s soon. (No core charge)
4 are “Drop in” and ride the other two are labor intensive to install. (Sunk valves, short guides, For high lift)

Greenhuman is a regular poster on TT. He has been building xr200’s for many years.
PM him for more information.
