I rode my YZ426 today for the first time since I bought the '04 CRF450. I was more than a little surprised at how good the bike still is. I didn't ride at a track today, just at one of the State OHV parks (Hollister) and couldn't ride the CRF due to the spark arrestor requirement. Yeah, the motor is down on power compared to the CRF. And yeah it's a little heavy. But the dang thing is still a very fun bike! And it starts in one kick. And the suspension is dialed in for me. The CRF is nice, but I had just as much fun today with the old fat YZF. I was thinking of selling it but I'm keeping it for my practice/buddy bike.
