2014 PSF settings for woods

Recommended Posts

What up,

so im trying to dial in this front fork the best I can for hare scramble/ gncc style woods riding. I just did the cherokee national enduro on it this last weekend and the fork just seemed to dance around a lot and didn't like to stay settled at all. I have some settings that were kind of a baseline and was wondering if anyone had any experience or any settings they could share.

I weigh roughly 165lbs c class rider

I ran 31.5 psi for the enduro and I feel like I could still come down some.

Spring rate: 33-34 psi
   Oil height: 245cc
   Compression: 10 clicks out
   Rebound: 18 clicks out
   Fork-leg height: 5mm up

Spring rate: 5.5 kg/mm
   Hi-compression: 2 turns out
   Lo-compression: 12 clicks out
   Rebound: 16 clicks out
   Race sag: 100-102mm

For gncc and Enduro is IMO  better with less oil and more air volum (not same as haigher psi)

I go to 33-34 psi (35psi for mx) otherwise the the fork dives when braking and it go to low in stroke and it becomes hard/hars instead

And 310-320oil for Enduro ( Mx about 340 because  if you have  more oil  and soft compression  clickers 5 out fom stock become hard when the forks come down much but you want go use as much travel as possible without bottoming  Same on  rebound

In rear i go high speed approx 1turn out. Dependz on track. And about 4-5 clicks out in low speed and same at rebound.

Thats where i stsrt and udjust depends on trails/enduro
