IT 250 K clutch actuator

so after much aggravation i finally have my IT 250k running in. i have noticed after every run my clutch actuator keeps lifting out of the hole it goes into and oil is spitting out once the top section gets high enough to let oil past. if it wasn’t for the spring it would come out completely. now i have a couple of bunches but all of them involve stripping clutch down again.

any ideas what cause this apart from IT s do rattle your fillings out?

when the shaft comes out is there a groove in the shaft about 3/4" down from the lever arm?

i do not know as i haven’t removed shaft yet completely to inspect it,  what if there is?

well spotted thanks very much for that, don’t remember there being a bolt there when i got it, so will have to source one. saved me taking that clutch apart again!
