2018 klx 250 Efi question

So i have the new 2018 klx 250. I was thinking of messing with the intake and exhaust a bit. The problem is that I'm a bit new to the efi. If i open up the intake and exhaust will the efi compensate to keep the ratio right? is there some manual adjuster for the amount of fuel going in? not sure exactly how the efi figures out the ratio.

I'm actually looking to get an EFI bike next. My bikes have been carbs. So I'm in the same boat.

Everything I'm reading indicates that you should tune it.
